To strengthen Colorado's nonprofits through online giving!

Opera Fort Collins brings the magic of opera to life each season with three live performances, numerous events, community outreach programs, and educational opportunities. Tickets sales, fundraisers, grants, corporate, and donor support keep us singing. We invite YOU to become both a patron and steward of this vibrant art form. See you at the opera!

Opera Fort Collins is proud to be an Opera America (level 4) professional regional company that promotes the art of opera, provides a training arena for professional and student singers, offers music education to schools and civic organizations, and gives audiences of all ages an opportunity to enjoy a world-class performing art form at affordable prices.

On stage and behind the curtain, three staged OFC productions come to life each season (early fall, winter and late spring) thanks to the intricate collaboration of professional vocalists, actors, instrumentalists, dancers, costumers, make-up artists, technical experts and skilled designers. Operas are generally presented in their original languages. English supertitles are always provided to enhance the audience experience.

Through our Community Outreach Programs, we partner with regional schools, civic organizations and retirement communities to educate, entertain, and engage new generations in the cultural arts.

Additional OFC Outreach includes the OFC Apprentice Artist (AA) & Studio Artist (SA) Programs. This selective, audition-based program serves as a bridge from practice to performance for Colorado State University and University of Northern Colorado graduate and undergraduate level voice students who are ready to assume the challenges of performing in professional operas. These emerging artists sing comprimario parts, cover principal roles, provide leadership in the OFC Chorus, and take educational performances to regional schools, civic groups and popular events throughout northern Colorado. OFC AAs benefit from Master Classes provided by principal guest artists and receive dramatic coaching and audition preparation. OFC AAs receive an annual stipend.

Thanks to the strong foundations built by the enthusiastic participation of our regional patrons, businesses, corporations, foundations, and volunteers who have sustained the Company since 1979, OFC is well positioned to carry the art of opera into the future.

As with most performing arts organizations, OFC ticket sales cover less than one quarter of our general operating needs. While we are diligent in seeking grants, business support, fundraising opportunities and other revenue streams to supplement our modest annual budget, we need YOUR assistance to support the performances you enjoy each season.

We invite you to make a gift to Opera Fort Collins on December 5, 2017, during the statewide Colorado Gives Day. Your gift of any size will help us reach our goal of $12,000! Your generous participation will help keep this world-class art form vibrant and alive.
